Introduction
On leave from work, Shimobe, aka “Joni,” is a lackluster game streamer known only to those in the know and completely unknown to those who don’t, with his machine gun-like talk tinged with resentment toward the company. When the guest suddenly misses the stream and viewers are asked to join, sports-focused “TAI” decides to join with his newly purchased game console. Joni tries to gently guide TAI, who is brave but keeps stepping on landmines, and the exchange becomes heated.
But he has a “secret” hidden in his heart…
The play will be directed and performed by Shogo Amo, who has garnered attention for his work in the stage production of Yowamushi Pedal and the drama Tomorrow I Will Be Someone’s Girlfriend and is expanding the scope of his activities to include presiding over Actors Comic.
The script was written by the talented Hikaru Soma, who attracted attention for his work on the TV drama The Strange Tales of the World and was selected as a member of NHK’s script development team WDR.
The play will be composed and performed by Tsunekazu Ebihara, who is active in opera and musicals as well as appearing in songs such as 30-sai made doutei dattara mahou tsukai ni nareru sousaite and Elpis, and who also works as a singer-songwriter.
